Irish American Lobster Comment

I can't offer attribution because I don't know where I remember it from, but please do let me know if you know it's origin and I'll be happy to highlight that. So the story goes, an Irish American couple are sitting down to dinner in a Dublin restaurant, the ever observant American gentleman offers a helpful comment to the waiter:

"You know, I'm looking over there at that big lobster tank you got in that corner, and if that was in the states like that, with no lid on it and all, why them suckers would just climb right on out..."

The Irish waiter smiles and seats his guests:

"Well ya see sir, them's good traditional Irish Lobsters in dat tank and if any of them looks like he might get even anywhere near the top of it, then the rest of them don't be long pullin' him right back down again."
